Should I clean up before you arrive?

Don’t worry. There is no need to clean up beforehand; in fact, it’s more helpful for us to see your space as it is on a day-to-day basis in order to develop a solution that best suits your needs. Just remember that Neat-Knack is NOT a cleaning service—we’re professional organizers.

How long will it take to get organized?

Each project requires a different commitment. During your initial consultation, we’ll determine an accurate time frame to achieve the best outcome for your space.

Do I have to throw my things away?

Absolutely not. We encourage an open, honest, and realistic assessment of your belongings in what we call “the editing process”. We never require you to get rid of anything.

Do I need to be present?

Your presence is only necessary for the initial consultation during which we will determine your needs, wants, biggest stressors, Pinterest dreams etc. Once we start the organizational process, we encourage you to enjoy Nantucket and trust Neat-Knack to successfully meet the goals set out during the initial consultation.

Will you help me donate belongings?

We’d love to! We give to a variety of places on the island and can promise you that your items will be thoughtfully rehomed. If you wish to receive a receipt/tax form for your donations, please just let us know prior to donating as we would be happy to facilitate.
